Did you love your time at Leeds?

Share your experiences with prospective students and help them to see the benefits of getting a degree from Leeds

If you loved your time at Leeds we'd like you to shout about it.

Our alumni are our greatest ambassadors and advocates and simply by mentioning your Leeds degree in your online business profiles or wearing a Leeds pin badge you can help promote Leeds.

There is also the chance to get involved in more active ways:

Alumni Outreach Ambassadors

Alumni Outreach Ambassadors go into schools and colleges to speak to prospective students about the experience of studying at Leeds and how your time at the University has helped your career.

You can play an important role in raising aspirations to higher education as well as encouraging prospective students to consider coming to Leeds.

Training and on going support is provided for this popular and rewarding activity.

Have a look at our current opportunities to see whether we're recruiting volunteers where you live.

International Alumni Ambassadors

International Alumni Ambassadors work with staff from our International Office to help recruit students around the world.

Volunteers get involved by talking to prospective students about university life and study at education fairs and sharing personal experiences of living in Leeds at offer holder events and pre-departure briefings.

If you're interested in getting involved in your country please get in touch with the International Office

What's it like?

"I remember that when I was looking in to my further education options past college, I was incredibly naïve about the opportunities that were open to me, and indeed what benefit I would gain in going to university at all.

"I was keen to pass on experience and knowledge to people facing these choices, if nothing else to at least arm them with as much information as possible going forwards."

Kim Rowell (Broadcast Journalism 2006)
